Profile

Dr. Rajesh G Sainani is a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Mumbai, attached to Jaslok Hospital and Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. He can also be consulted privately at his clinic in Doctor House opposite Jaslok Hospital. Dr. Sainani holds an MD in Internal Medicine and in addition is a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Gastroenterology. Besides, he has also completed a Fellowship from the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, and attended a large number of workshops and courses to enhance his knowledge and skills in his area of specialisation. 

With over a decade of rich experience in his field, Dr. Rajesh Sainani has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Gastroenterology. His areas of special interest include motility disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and constipation.

Dr. Sainani has participated in numerous research studies and clinical trials as Trial Coordinator or Co-Researcher. He has a large number of publications to his name, and has frequently presented papers, delivered lectures, moderated panel discussions, etc, at Gastroenterology conferences all over the country. Dr. Rajesh Sainani is a respected member of various national and international bodies and associations connected to Gastroenterology.
